Arise, shine; for your light has come (v1a, Isaiah 60, NKJV)
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. (John 9:5)
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (v1b)
You are the light of the world. (Matthew 5:14)
[i.e. after Jesus ascended]

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1Peter 2:9)
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you (v2)
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. (Acts 2:20, Joel 2:31, also see Revelation 6:12, Sixth Seal)
The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory. (Isaiah 60:19)
But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. (1Thessalonians 5:4)
The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising (v3)
For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’” (Acts 13:47)
Lift up your eyes all around, and see: they all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side (v4)
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. (Acts 16:31)
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children. (Psalm 103:17)
Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy (v5a)
They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed. (Psalm 34:5)
When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him. (Exodus 34:30, NIV)
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2Corinthians 3:18)
Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory (1Peter 1:8)
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you (v5b)
The wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. (Proverbs 13:22)
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. (Psalm 1:3)
When we shine forth the light of Jesus within the deep darkness of the end-time world, people will come to us to be helped, saved, edified and prospered
